We are hoping to raise several thousand dollars again this year for the Hormel Cancer Research Center and are so proud to work with such a world class organization. 2018 4th Annual Cancer Fundraiser Hunt For A Cure to benefit the Hormel Cancer Research Center. We truly enjoy being able to support this "World Class" cancer research center and join in the fight to eradicate the scourge of cancer in our lifetime.

2017 Hunt For A Cure

2017 Hunt For A Cure is our annual fundraiser to benefit the Hormel Cancer Research Center

2017 Youth Hunt

This event is our annual youth hunt which is a free event for 25 of the first respondents and is held October 21 this year. The event starts at 8:00 a.m. at the LeRoy Rod & Gun Club with a safety training session followed by trap shooting and then we hit the fields for pheasant hunting for all participating youth. Lunch will be served back at the Rod & Gun Club where there will be door prizes and lots more fun to be had. Hope to see you there.

2017 Annual Banquet

The 17th Annual Pheasants Forever Banquet is another one for the record books! The Banquet was held at the Austin Holiday Inn on Saturday, February 25, 2017. We had a full house despite getting socked with 15 inches of snow the day before. We can't thank the loyal crowd that turned out to support us enough.

2017 Scholarship

The 2017 Mower County Habitat and Pheasants Forever $1,000 Scholarship winner will be notified by February 25th, 2017. Formal award will be presented at the Austin High School Awards presentation in May 2017. Students may use their $1,000 scholarship for tuition, books, fees and housing at any accredited institution of higher education.

2017 Mower County Habitat & Pheasants Forever at the Fair

We will have a booth at the Mower County Fair Thursday August 10th 2017. Stop by and see us, say hi, talk some pheasants with us, maybe join us if you're not a member. Our booth is in the Fish and Game Building so, come on out and see us.

Member Hunts

Forming bonds and friendships in the field, all in the efforts of conservation. From time to time we have members getting together as a group to hunt some pheasants in our great state of Minnesota. Hunt For A Cure

On October 3, 2015 Mower County Habitat & Pheasants Forever wiil be sponsoring an event where all proceeds go to the Hormel Institute Cancer Research Center.

2016 Annual Banquet

Mower County Habitat & Pheasants Forever Chapter #670 The 16th Annual Pheasants Forever Banquet has come and gone and was a tremendous success.

The Banquet will be at the Austin Holiday Inn on Saturday, February 27, 2016. Social Hour and raffles begin at 5 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

NOTE: Tickets will be limited this year to only 250 attendees. Find us on Facebook!

Hunt for a Cure Fundraiser for the Hormel Foundation Cancer Research Center raised over $3,000 to fund cancer research center right here in Austin Minnesota. We truly enjoy being able to support this "World Class" cancer research center and join in the fight to eradicate the scourge of cancer in our lifetime.

Annual Youth Hunts

The future of our sport relies on the efforts of the generations younger than us. To help promote these efforts and educate youth in the importance of what Pheasants Forever is, we host the Mower County Habitat & Pheasants Forever Annual Youth Hunt.

This event is FREE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS and open to all hunting youth ages 12-16. Firearms safety certificate required. (Maximum 25 Hunters)

Mower County Habitat & Pheasants Forever will provide an accident liability waiver for you to fill out when you sign up. This is a FREE YOUTH EVENT. We feel this effort is important in showcasing why our organization is important and simultaneously allows our hunting youth to have some fun with our leaders of today and tomorrow.

Social Get-Togethers

The Minnesota hosts a Chapter social get together at the local sporting clays. Chapter members and their families are cordially invited. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends, enjoy some great food and have some fun shooting sporting clays.

Mentor Hunts with Chapter Members

We pair mentors with inexperienced youth hunters in a hunt for live pheasants in a controlled environment. Participants received shooting tips, dog training instructions and a chance to shoot live pheasants. All of the young hunters learned some of the finer skills of upland game hunting from our staff. Pheasants Forever Mower County Habitat is honored to carry on the passion for teaching the next generation of hunters.

Veteran and Wounded Warrior Hunts

Each year the Minnesota gives back to those service men and women by showcasing a Hero Hunt. We wanted to give back something to those who defend our freedom so that we are able to do things like hunt, fish, and enjoy being in the outdoors in general. We will provide the location, shells, pheasants, dogs & handlers, clay birds, etc. So, dress accordingly and bring your shotgun! Be prepared for a good time in the field.
